The 17.3-inch (1920 x 1080 Full HD display) laptop is powered by an Intel 1.73GHz Core i7-820QM or 2.0GHz Core i7 920XM quad-core processor, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 1GB GDDR5 graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, dual SSD or HDD (up to 1.28TB) memory. Asus G73JH-A1 comes equipped with a 2.1MP webcam, a Blu-ray drive or an optional DVD writer, an 8-in-1 card reader, Bluetooth, WiFi, an 8-cell battery pack, Gigabit Ethernet, an ExpressCard 34/54 slot and runs on Windows 7 Home Premium OS (64bit).
