Featuring a precision unibody enclosure crafted from a single block of aluminum, the MacBook Pro is thinner and lighter than its predecessor as well as stronger and more durable. But Apple didn't stop innovating with the body's design. These new MacBook Pro machines keep the unibody casings of their predecessors, making them thin and light, but they now use non-user-serviceable batteries as in the MacBook Air and the 17-inch MacBook Pro. According to Apple their boosting time is up to 7hrs.

Apple offer the 13-inch MacBook Pro with a choice of 2.26GHz or 2.53GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processors (each with 1066MHz FSB and 3MB of L2 cache), up to 8GB of 1066MHz DDR3 RAM, up to 500GB of 5,400rpm HDD or 256GB of SSD storage. There’s a DVD burner but no Blu-ray option, while graphics are courtesy of NVIDIA’s GeForce 9400M with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM. Connectivity includes WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and gigabit ethernet, plus a FireWire 800 port, Mini DisplayPort, two USB 2.0 ports, audio in/out and an iSight webcam.The range starts at $1,199 for the 2.26GHz model and $1,499 for the 2.53GHz model.

The 15-inch MacBook Pro has the same ports, wireless connectivity and RAM options, but scales up the processor choices to 2.53GHz, 2.66GHz, 2.8GHz or 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo chips. Graphics on all but the entry level model are NVIDIA GeForce 9400M and 9400M GT (the 2.53GHz model makes do with just the 9400M), and storage is up to 500GB of 7,200rpm HDD or up to 256GB of SSD.

New Apple White MacBook features a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor with a 1066MHz frontside bus and the NVIDIA GeForce 9400M IGP. The laptop had previously featured a Core 2 Duo at 2.1GHz, 800MHz FSB, and Intel’s GMA X3100 integrated GPU.

White Macbook also includes up to 320GB of hard drive space, up to 4GB of DDR2 RAM, a DVD burner, and a built-in iSight camera,802.11n WiFi connectivity, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, two USB ports, a Mini-DVI output, and a Firewire 400 port.

The laptop runs Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

MacBook Pro is 0.95 inches thin and weighs 5.5 pounds,. Currently, there are two new MacBook Pro models - the first (MB470LL/A) has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor at 2.4GHz, 2GB of DDR3 memory, and a 250GB hard drive, while the second (MB471LL/A) comes with a 2.53GHz Core 2 Duo, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, and a 320GB HDD. The both models ship with a slot-load DVD burner and can be configured with a 128GB solid state drive instead of the traditional HDD.

It uses LED backlight and is covered with an edge-to-edge seamless glass. The switchable graphics solution consists of two Nvidia GeForce GPUs: a power-saving 9400M integrated chip and a high-performance 9600M GT dedicated video card. The MacBook Pro 2.4GHz model comes with a 256MB 9600M GT, while the 2.53GHz model ships with a 512MB version. Users can switch between the graphics chips without rebooting the system.

Other features include an iSight camera, backlight keyboard, AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi 802.11n wireless module, Bluetooth, Gigabit Ethernet LAN connector, Mini DisplayPort, two USB ports, an ExpressCard slot, and FireWire 800Mbps port.

Apple MacBook Aluminum Unibody is 0.95 inches thin and weighs 4.5 pounds, according to its specifications. Currently, there are two new MacBook models - the first (MB466LL/A) has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor at 2GHz and a 160GB hard drive, while the second (MB467LL/A) comes with a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, 250GB HDD, and backlit keyboard.

The both models ship with 2GB of DDR3 RAM (expandable to 4GB) and a slot-load optical drive. The systems can be also ordered with a 320GB HDD or a 128GB solid state drive, instead of standard storage.

Other features include an iSight camera, AirPort Extreme Wi-Fi 802.11n wireless networking, Bluetooth, a Gigabit Ethernet LAN port, Mini DisplayPort, and two USB ports. The new MacBook does not have an ExpressCard or PC Card slot.

The notebook runs Mac OS X v10.5 Leopard.
