When you first take a look at the Lenovo IdeaPad it has all the makings of a traditional netbook.  An Intel Atom N450 processor, Windows 7, 1GB of RAM and a 250GB hard drive are all included.  But when you really start to play with this netbook you realize just how special it is.

The Lenovo IdeaPad comes equipped with a 10.1 inch multitouch screen.  Which means you can finally use all those cool Windows 7 features.  The screen will actually pivot around 180 degrees and can fold down on top of the keyboard.  This machine has incredible functionality and features.  There is also a built-in Intel graphics media accelerator, a webcam and it only weighs about 3.3 lbs.  We all know the iPad will be a hit but when you compare it with the Lenovo IdeaPad you will see that the iPad may not be your best choice.

Lenovo has added two new notebooks to their range with the introduction of the IdeaPad U350 and the IdeaPad G550. Based on the Intel’s Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV) platform, the U350 is a power efficient notebook that sports a 13.3-inch display, a 1.4GHz Intel Core 2 Solo SU3500 processor, an integrated Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics, a 1.3MP webcam, up to 8GB DDR3 RAM, a max 500GB hard drive, a DVD burner, a multi-touch trackpad, an 8-cell battery.

It Runs Windows Vista OS.

Lenovo IdeaPad G550 offers a 15.6-inch widescreen display, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, an optional Intel GMA X4500 or NVIDIA’s GeForce G105M graphics, up to 4GB DDR3 RAM, a 320GB hard drive, a DVD burner, WiFi, Bluetooth, a numeric keypad.

It also runs Windows Vista OS.
