New 10.1-inch LG X120 netbook was introduced. The netbook is powered by an 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, Intel GMA 950 Graphics and a 160GB HDD. LG X120 comes equipped with a 1.3-megapixel camera, 802.11b, 802.11g Wi-Fi connectivity, HD stereo speakers, 3G (supporting HSDPA).

The netbook runs on Windows XP Home OS and weights only 1.14 kg.

Samsung N130 and N140 Netbook Reviews

Samsung introduced its N130 and N140 netbook models on the Russian market. According to Samsung the machines have larger keyboards and productive gesign. The N130 weighs a bit over 1KG and has 7 hours of battery life while N140 promises 11 hours instead. Both N130 and N140 are powered by an Atom N270 CPU and also can come with N280 CPU as well. Both machines feature the Intel 945GSE chipset, 160GB HDD, 1GB of RAM. The netbooks come equipped with 0.3MP webcams, Wi-Fi, memory card reader, Bluetooth, integrated mic. and VGA out.

Daewoo announced its new Atom powered 8.9″ touchscreen convertible SOLO C920 tablet netbook. The netbook is powered by a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, Intel 945 Express chipset and runs Windows XP Home Edition OS.

Daewoo SOLO C920 comes with an 8.9″ touchscreen widescreen display offering 1024 x 600 resolution, 1GB DDR2 RAM, a 160GB capacity 1.8″ 4200rpm HDD, 1.3 megapixel camera, RealTek HD audio and SD/MMC card reader, an integrated Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n), PCI-E Ethernet, D-Sub, 2 x USB and RJ45 ports.

Disney and Asus companies joined together and relesed a new Disney-branded netbook known as the Netpal. The netbook is designes especially for kids upto 12 years old. The Netpal is based on Eee PC that comes equipped with a 8.9-inch LCD display, a Wi-Fi connectivity, an Intel Atom processor and a Microsoft Windows XP OS with a customized interface featuring themes such as Mickey Mouse, Cars, Toy Story and WALL-E. You can choose from a 16GB SSD or a 160GB hard drive, while color choices include pink with floral designs or blue with Mickey Mouse icons. Each Netpal model is priced at $350 and should be available in July 2009.

Toshiba NB205 mini laptop runs on a Intel Atom N280 processor (1.66GHz), has 1GB of RAM (up to 2GB), features a 10.1-inch widescreen display and a full QWERTY raised-tile keyboard with a “laptop-sized” touchpad.Mini NB205 offers nine hours of battery life and features a HDD with Impact Sensor technology that will prevent any data loss from those daily bumps.

The netbook runs windows XP OS.The netbook also sports 802.11 b/g Wireless, Bluetooth, a built-in webcam, a memory card reader, an USB port with “Sleep-and-Charge” technology and a security lock slot.
The new Toshiba Mini NB205 weighs 2.9lbs, and should be available in blue, sable brown, white and pink.

ASUS Eee Box EB1002 and EB1006 NetTops Review

Two new ASUS Eee Box nettops are in the works, according to listings on the Energy Star website. The ASUS Eee Box EB1002 and Eee Box EB1006 both use Intel’s Atom 1.66GHz processor, with the former having integrated graphics and the latter an unspecified discrete video card with 128MB of memory. Other specs include 2GB of RAM in both nettops, plus the EB1002 is listed as using a 250GB hard-drive. No drive details are given for the EB1006. As you might expect, there’s a fair amount of power information given for each Eee Box, with the EB1002 using between 1.320 and 1.416W in sleep mode and between 0.971 and 1.062W in standby mode. The EB1006 sees those figures climb to between 2.029 and 2.130W in sleep and 1.752 to 1.861W in standby.

The ASUS Eee Box EB1002 was listed in the market on May 11th, while the ASUS Eee Box EB1006 on May 25th.
