Google Chromebooks Set for Performance Push

If you are one of the many looking to grab a fresh new Google Chromebook you will love this update.  Google along with Intel are set to release performance upgrades to all Chromebooks.

The latest report from DigiTimes indicates that Google will soon offer Chromebooks packed with Intel Core i processors.  Sources say the processors will be supplied from Intel at a special discount.  Meanwhile current Google Chromebook owners will have to rely on their Atom N570 processors which are considerably slower.   This update will also help boost the Chromebooks security which is another plus.  This just might entice users who were on the fence about buying the new Samsung Chromebook. That being said it will be hard to compete with the millions who are jumping on the Android tablet craze.

Samsung N120 NetBook Review

The Samsung N120 netbook mixes things up a little by featuring a full sizes 12.1-inch keyboard, along with a 10.1-inch LED backlit LCD panel. Samsung N110 NetBook Review

The new Samsung N110 features the improved touchpad found on the NC10 SE edition, along with an improved larger keyboard which is 93 percent full-sized, and improved battery which lasts 8 full hours under normal usage. Most of the internal specifications in the N110 are the sames as on the NC10, with the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, 1GB DDR2 RAM (expandable 2GB), 10.2 inch 1024 x 600 LCD, and a 160GB HDD.
