Google Chromebooks Set for Performance Push
If you are one of the many looking to grab a fresh new Google Chromebook you will love this update. Google along with Intel are set to release performance upgrades to all Chromebooks.
The latest report from DigiTimes indicates that Google will soon offer Chromebooks packed with Intel Core i processors. Sources say the processors will be supplied from Intel at a special discount. Meanwhile current Google Chromebook owners will have to rely on their Atom N570 processors which are considerably slower. This update will also help boost the Chromebooks security which is another plus. This just might entice users who were on the fence about buying the new Samsung Chromebook. That being said it will be hard to compete with the millions who are jumping on the Android tablet craze.

Samsung introduced its N130 and N140 netbook models on the Russian market. According to Samsung the machines have larger keyboards and productive gesign. The N130 weighs a bit over 1KG and has 7 hours of battery life while N140 promises 11 hours instead. Both N130 and N140 are powered by an Atom N270 CPU and also can come with N280 CPU as well. Both machines feature the Intel 945GSE chipset, 160GB HDD, 1GB of RAM. The netbooks come equipped with 0.3MP webcams, Wi-Fi, memory card reader, Bluetooth, integrated mic. and VGA out.
