I did a good deal of reading and research before purchasing this ASUS Eee. I was attracted by the 2 gigs of RAM that were included, allowing a full version of Windows 7 to run. It is light, easy to tote around, and full featured -- right down to the webcam. The tracker pad is comfy and responsive. Display is not sharp and gorgeous like bigger computers, but it is more than adequate for my portable computing purposes. This is not a desktop replacement, but how great for business trips and vacation -- can't wait to use it for offloading photos while traveling using the built-in SD card slot!
The design is lovely -- the brown is classy looking and not *too* attention-grabbing, and all the slots and inputs are hidden away under discreet covers. I am enjoying this computer after a month and will update as some more time passes. |

| This is less of a netbook and more of a notebook. No disc drive? Havent even noticed; with the windows 7 i have found every driver needed without the need for a disc. This feels and acts like a much more expensive version of itself. The asthetic is wonderful and a real head turner. It's one and only glaring downside is the sad battery life, 2 1/2 hours on battery is pretty much par which is unfortunate. However the processor is more than adequate, the memory sufficient, and multi-tasking is seemless. This is a wonderful computer and ASUS is becoming a real name in reliability. |

| So far, I really like this. I waited for this model because it has Windows 7 Home Premium instead of 7 Starter. I've taking it on a trip and it was perfect. I've only encountered one problem which really concerns me: I haven't figured out a way to install the Canon program I need in order to view Canon RAW photos. The problem is that there is insufficient screen resolution for the Canon program to even properly load. If anyone has a solution to this problem, PLEASE reply. |

lets admit it. most PC's are the same. But this mini-laptop (Netbook) stands out because of beautiful robust quality, extremely well engineered - up-to-speed prescient technology and the beautiful colors and outside seashell molding. The brown version is a soft-touch rubberized version. The pattern is really nice to grip and reflects a new form to the banal computer world. i designed the pattern to express our data-driven world - ripples of information, and connectivity. Yes i designed it and i use it non-stop while traveling. Hope u enjoy it.
