Dell adds to its Vostro series the Vostro 1220 ultraportable business notebook. The 12.1-inch Vostro 1220 is boosted by Intel’s Core 2 Duo processor up to T9900 3.06GHz, up to 8GB RAM, integrated Intel GM X4500MHD graphics. It has up to 500GB hard drive capacity and either a 8X DVD burner or Blu-ray DVD burner combo.
Dell’s Vostro 1220 gets a 12.1-inch 1280×800 LCD display and a 1.3 Megapixel webcam. WiF and Bluetooth are supported. You can also find a 3-in-1 card reader and an ExpressCard/34 slot. It comes with 4-cell or 6-cell battery pack. It weighs just 1.52kg with a 4-cell battery.

The Vostro 1220 starts at $799.

    The four-cell battery of the Vostro lasted for a respectable three hours, 25 minutes and 33 seconds on high performance settings with brightness and volume at maximum.

    Even more annoying than the fingerprint-attracting glossy screen was the screen bleeding that made itself known along the bottom of the screen.
